On this episode of Speak Up! Danny interviews the Vancouver Public Library's new Indigenous Storyteller in Residence, Cee Peal. 

Cee Peal is a Nisga'a artist, actor, director, writer, dancer, and producer who has worked in various art spaces throughout BC. His experience includes serving as the Indigenous outreach coordinator at The Cultch and as the artistic associate at The Carmen Arts Group.

CJSF reached out to Cee Peal to learn more about what he is working on for this residency. During our conversation, we also discussed some of what he hopes to achieve during the residency, including his hope to "destabilize the notion that people understand what Indigenous means".
