Each year, CJSF partners with the Burnaby North Secondary School to provide Grade 11 and 12 students enrolled in the Music Production & Technology ACE-IT Industry Training Program job ready skills development and industry experience.  Due to COVID, the students learned to create podcasts in lieu of doing live radio. Tune in for a youth perspective as they share areas of interests and reflect on topics that affect them.   

Every week, hosts Joey and Ciara challenge the mainstream and dig into what makes the city’s artistic and activist scenes tick. Join us as we feature and promote new local music from a myriad of spectrums including but not exclusively queer, punk and avant garde forms, and engage in norm busting interviews with local artists, musicians, and activists.

Stories about everyday Canadian lives told through Ukrainian roots.

A weekly series targeting discussion on the finer things in life around Wine, Distilled Spirits, Tea, Coffee, Beer, Cigars, and just really good stuff of life.

Some 40+ co-hosts from across the globe provide this content creating a vast range of audience and interests.

A light hearted and sometimes hilarious styled show that is entertaining yet informative.

The good folks at Radio Emily (closed circuit student radio from ECUAD) have partnered with CJSF to have this program heard by more listeners.

Vibecheck is where you come to find new music, people and youth culture. Hang tight, catch vibes. Stay tuned don’t snooze. 

Through October 2019-March 2020, VibeCheck altnernated weekly with The Uncovered, a program that explored young, local, underground artists and brought them to you so you could be that friend who brags about finding a band first. 

Intermingling pop cultural criticism and timely discussions of current issues with playlists of underrepresented musicians in mainstream Canadian radio. Typically Tuesdays' "quasi-cerebral" and tongue-in-cheek humour and unexpected deep dives makes approaching thinking about media, arts, culture, and society engaging and maybe...even...fun...?
