Vancouver Art Book Fair 2017
Now in its sixth year, the 2017 Vancouver Art Book Fair (VABF) will take place from Oct. 13-15 at the Vancouver Art Gallery Annex (750 Hornby Street), capping off the Artist's Books Week (running Oct. 9-15), a parallel series of events hosted in spaces across Vancouver by a variety of publishers, artists, collectives and institutions across the city who are actively creating and presenting work in this medium.
Free and open to the public, the VABF is the longest-running international art book fair in Canada, featuring nearly one hundred local, national and international publishers, as well as a diverse line-up of programs, performances and installations. Featured artists travel to Vancouver from across Canada and the globe, and produce everything from books, magazines, zines and printed ephemera to digital, performative or other experimental forms of publication.
VABF is presented in partnership with the Vancouver Art Gallery, British Columbia Arts Council, City of Vancouver, Access Copyright Foundation, Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association, Publishing@SFU & more.
