About the Host:

Pariya Zabihi (@parzyparpar on IG) is a Vancouver-based comedian and improviser known for her dry, unbothered delivery and a sense of humor that’s equal parts intimate confession and shocking real-world observations. Featured on JFL Vancouver shows and on CBC Radio’s On the Coast, she brings a low-key, cutting presence to the stage that leaves you wanting more.
Featuring:
Arya Afshar (@aryaafsharm on IG) is an Iranian filmmaker and comedian currently based in so-called Vancouver. Their comedy aims to strike a balance between low-brow toilet humor and transgressive political humor.

Amar Singh (@realexciting on IG) is one of the best comedians in the world at being one of North America’s rising comedic stars. Delightfully absurd and shockingly honest, he is a consistent crowd favourite. Vibrating between heartfelt personal stories and the dumbest jokes he can think of, Amar will keep you guessing. And hopefully, laughing.

Tin Lorica (@selfiemixtape on IG) is a comedian and writer based in Vancouver. They have been featured on CBC's The New Wave of Stand-up, and on Killjoy Comedy on OUTtv. Tin has co-produced shows such as Millennial Line, a live stand-up comedy and poetry series, which has been included in the Best of the West lineup of Just for Laughs Vancouver. They have opened for their faves Joel Kim Booster, Sheng Wang, Dulce Sloan, and Bob the Drag Queen.

Aaron Read (@clear.dog.food on IG) is an award-winning stand up comic and improviser from so-called Vancouver, Canada. His comedy wedges itself somewhere between sad-silliness and freaky psychedelia. Starting comedy in high school, Aaron has been confusing and delighting audiences for more than fifteen years. He’s performed on The Next Wave of Stand Up on CBC Gem and New Faces Of Comedy at The Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. He just released his debut Comedy special and album in 2025, Soft Bug Ego Jazz.

Randee Neumeyer (@randeenoodle on IG) is a Vancouver-based comedian and writer. She’s known for her subversively creative jokes, where her set-ups are as surprising as her punchlines. Randee has been featured on Don’t Tell Comedy, at Just for Laughs New Faces, and has a comedy album titled Bad Baby. You can find Randee on the new season of The New Wave of Standup on CBC Gem, cementing her place as one of Canada’s rising comedic voices.
