Think Globally, Act Locally
April 30th is International Jazz Day, with concerts and events all over the world and the main event in Melbourne Australia. It is sponsored by, among others, UNESCO and the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz. Herbie Hancock is a UNESCO goodwill ambassador. To celebrate the day and the worldwide influence of jazz I am imagining an International Jazz Day event in Vancouver, featuring some of Vancouver's finest jazz musicians. It's what I play!
