The SFU Student Services is celebrating Juneteenth and on Thursday June 18th, there is a Community Kitchen happening where you’ll explore, taste and celebrate rich flavours and stories that define African and Caribbean cuisine. 

There will be delicious food, (featuring fresh produce from Embark Learning Gardens) and you’ll learn the history and traditions that shape the incredible culinary heritage of African American cuisine.

Celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day on Friday, June 19 at Moody Park.

This is a free, all-ages celebration featuring live music and cultural performances, storytelling, physical activities, arts and crafts, Indigenous vendors, and delicious food from local food trucks.

Special performance by Juno Award-winning artist Fawn Wood at 12:05 pm, along with teachings and performances from Indigenous artists, dancers, drummers, and knowledge keepers throughout the day.
